Juan Ubeda’s career is a story of innovation, perseverance, and purpose. With a background in engineering and an Executive MBA (ExMBA) led by Deloitte and PwC, he has developed a well-rounded understanding of the technical, commercial, and financial dynamics that drive successful businesses.

His journey began in multinational tech companies, where he honed his skills in project management, strategy, and business growth. Driven by a passion for innovation, Juan later founded his own tech company. There, he faced one of the biggest challenges for startups, which is securing non-dilutive funding. Despite the odds, he successfully secured grants from some of the world’s most competitive programs, where success rates are as low as five percent.
Having experienced the complexities and time-consuming nature of the funding process firsthand, Juan decided to shift his focus to helping other innovators achieve the same success. After several years working with top consultancy firms in both the USA and Europe, he saw an opportunity to create something different. He set out to establish a consultancy with a more human, thoughtful, and responsible approach. This approach prioritizes client needs and quality over volume.
Today, as Founder and Head of Public Funding at Fund-Booster, Juan leads a team of senior experts driven by a passion for collaborating with smart, mission-focused innovators.
